About the Course

With the Rising Stars Leadership Program you get targeted, flexible and focused professional development with measureable return on investment.

The program combines a series of group workshops with targeted one-on-one coaching plus a work based project to ensure you learn not only the content of the program but also how to apply it in your work environment.

The program includes 5 x ½ day focused educational workshops scheduled over 10 months.  These workshops focus on business strategy, management, advanced leadership and communication skills.  The programs are highly practical, fun and use problem based learning and discussion.

Accreditation Option

Program Structure

Induction

Consultation with candidate, employer, program director and coach to:

  • Establish professional development plan
  • Determine strategic goals for candidate in line with company strategy
  • Establish relationship with project coach/advisor
  • Establish personal and business outcomes

Work Based Project

Participants are required to develop a strategic business improvement, product/process innovation or new market for the business.

The strategic improvement project is selected for its ability to impact on the business productivity or profitability.  The project may be drawn from participants existing KPI's or operational goals.

One-On-One Coaching

Participants are allocated a business coach that they work with directly for the duration of the project:

  • The role of the coach is to work closely with the participant and assist them in achieving their strategic project.
  • The coach in the rising stars program will meet with the participant regularly to help drive the personal and professional outcomes with the participant

Technology Support

Participants are also supported with technology through

  • Regular newsletter linked to the workshop schedule which provides pre and post workshop reading and activity (designed to flesh out the content for those who require more detailed learning)
  • Access to a moderated online discussion board, where participants are encouraged to share problems and solutions with each other.  This is moderated by our program coordinator to ensure the discussion is productive.
  • Tools and processes are regularly distributed to assist with the participant project as required
  • Confidential online, email and telephone support with mentor

Structured Feedback

The program coordinator liaises on a quarterly basis to give and receive feedback with the employer regarding the development progress of the participant.

Peer Support

Members are encouraged to connect with each other and form commercial and social networks.  Social functions will be scheduled from time to time and connecting people from different industries and companies is an important aspect of the program benefits.

Additional Professional Development Training

Participants in any of the Partnercorp leadership Programs automatically have access to a 25% discount on all additional professional development training programs provided by the Partnercorp Training Division.
